Obito and Rin were still walking side by side down the street.
But something had changed.
Their fingers were intertwined, and sweet smiles lit their faces.
Obito looked at the girl smiling beside him.

Obito answered every question with a smile.

Then he took out his wallet and bought the little things she had tried on.

"Lin-chan, are you hungry after all this walking? I'll go buy us some dango."
Rin nodded happily.

Obito handed her the shopping bags.
Then he took off toward the dango shop, arms swinging behind him.
When he came back with the dango,
he made a show of racing across rooftops and walls, drawing countless stares.
He flipped down from a roof and landed with a flourish.
Obito held the takeaway box out to Rin.
"Here, Lin-chan. Eat them while they're hot."
Rin picked up a skewer and blinked her wide eyes at him.
"Obito-kun, why were you in such a hurry? What if you'd fallen?"
