After buying a pile of snacks from the supermarket in the Competitors' Village, Dian returned to his room and let out all his Pokémon.
Apart from a few Pokémon who had to stay behind to guard the Gym, he had brought almost all of them with him.
Fortunately, the competitors' rooms were designed for at least three people, or there really would not have been enough space for all his Pokémon.
Mawile, Ralts, Teddiursa, Serperior, Vibrava, Quagsire, Slowpoke, Litwick, Misdreavus, Tyranitar, Jumpluff, Beedrill, and more.
"Misdreavus, keep an eye on Litwick. Don't let it drain the other Pokémon's life force."
"Slowpoke, use Confusion to support Tyranitar's body. What if it punches a hole through the floor and falls?"
"And Vibrava, don't eat the flowers over there. I didn't buy those."
Dian looked around. Apart from Alolan Vulpix, almost all the Pokémon that belonged exclusively to him were here.
Alolan Vulpix was simply too young. Sending it into battle would barely even count as handing the opponent a free knockout.
He glanced at Eevee by his feet and sighed. "Eevee, why haven't you evolved yet?"
"Vee~"
Eevee wagged its tail and lay lazily on the soft carpet, yawning. How was it supposed to know? It had eaten who knew how many ice rock crystals and even slept beside them for a night, but it still hadn't evolved.
What could it do if its body wouldn't cooperate?
"Slow~"
Slowpoke wagged its newly regrown tail, showing its support.
"You think knowing Shed Tail makes you special?"
Dian turned and picked up Teddiursa. "Teddiursa, how's it going? Do you understand love now?"
"Ursa?"
Teddiursa happily waved its paws, though it was anyone's guess whether it understood.
"Mawile!!"
Mawile immediately puffed out its cheeks in jealousy and hopped up and down, wanting a hug
