A leisurely song drifted beneath the Forbidden Zone on Nebel Plateau. Magearna sat on a rock beside the lake, kicking her little feet, while a group of Pokémon slept peacefully around her.
Jimiya and Lakel went to start their vehicle, preparing to return to the Azoth Kingdom.
Thud, thud, thud...
Volcanion walked deeper into the cavern, accompanied by a Litwick and a Gulpin.

The two Pokémon cautiously stole timid glances at Dian behind them, then hurried into the depths of the cavern to hide.
Clearly, although they liked Volcanion, they disliked humans. That was common enough.
Dian silently followed Volcanion, thinking about what Volcanion had just said.
"Human, do you know what a cycle is?"
After saying that, Volcanion had motioned for him to follow. Clearly, Volcanion disliked owing humans favors and was determined to find some way to repay him.
A cycle? Could that be another of the powers Volcanion possessed?
Dian glanced at the mountainous red beast ahead of him. Just as he had seen earlier, Volcanion represented three powers: water, fire, and steam.
He wondered whether that had anything to do with cycles.
But thinking about it, fire represented high temperatures, and water could become gas when subjected to high temperatures.
Likewise, Volcanion also possessed the ability to create mist and freezing fog.
In other words, Volcanion could turn gaseous water into liquid, or even solid water.
Using water as a reference, Volcanion possessed the ability to transform it between gaseous, solid, and liquid states. Calling that a cycle would not be unreasonable.
And Dian knew that water was, at its most basic, the simplest compound of hydrogen and oxygen, with the chemical formula H₂O.
Dian rubbed his chin as he thought, suddenly recalling the biological reaction field he still had no idea how to
