Dian glanced at the sky. The once-clear blue expanse had become obscured at some point, and he could vaguely make out something drifting down.
At that moment, even the least perceptive person could feel the temperature plummeting.
Glaceon gleefully swished its long, dark Deep Blue, diamond-shaped tail, breathing out cold air as it hopped back and forth. Soon, a thin layer of ice covered the scorched battlefield.

In theory, provided its body could withstand the strain, a Pokémon with Speed Boost could seemingly approach the realm of Extreme Speed.

On top of that, Blaziken could undergo Mega Evolution for another boost, and it already had Bulk Up...
Dian sighed in admiration. Sometimes, starter Pokémon really did live up to their reputation. Their potential was tremendous, and they could even develop cohesive fighting systems.
"Fire Punch!!"
"Obstacle."
Their voices rang out almost simultaneously.
