"He's an arrogant bastard," Jason said.

"That's fine. By the time I let him out, the battle will be starting anyway," Roland said.

"You want to use him against the Dark Knights? What if he surrenders to those Batmen instead?" Jason warned. "They're still Batman. Even if they've gone bad, they should still be pretty smart, right? That guy doesn't look too bright. I'm worried they'll talk him into switching sides."

"Well... you're right that the other Batmen are pretty smart, but the one who's been juicing is a different story," Roland said. "Stop worrying. I've already got a plan. Next, we follow the arrangements here..."

As he spoke, Roland pulled out a stack of abstract drawings.

"Your plans really are... one of a kind."

"Who's this supposed to be?" Kara picked up a sheet and examined it. It depicted a Batman with enormous breasts.

"The Drowned," Roland explained. "Another Batman who went bad."

"Oh."

"All right, let's get ready. If this is going to be our battlefield, planting Zero here after injecting him with the Doomsday Virus won't be enough," Roland said. "Let's start with Gotham City. Unless something unexpected happens, this will be the main battlefield."

"Makes sense, considering we're fighting Batman." Jason nodded. "Anything you need me to do?"

"Of course. You and the mages will undo the seals on Gotham City," Roland said. "There are plenty of demons under Gotham, along with curses and things like that. I had Merlin work out a plan to link all those magical reactions together so we can detonate them all at once."

"You're going that far?" Jason gaped. He had some idea of how much magic lay within Gotham's fertile soil. Setting it all off would cause a commotion on
