Jason first appears inside Roland’s hidden church after offending Roland and being left hanging upside down from a cross. He quickly becomes part of Roland’s orbit, serving as his “wingman” during investigations and dangerous missions 3 7. Jason is competitive and eager to prove himself. He challenged Nightwing simply to test his strength, was beaten badly, and responded by promising to train harder 34.
