"No, I'm just telling the truth." Batman shook his head. "Are you familiar with the concepts of atomic electron ionization, multielectron Auger decay, electron excitation relaxation, and imaging?"
"...I really don't know any of that."
"There you go." Batman spread his hands. "So all I can tell you is that this is very high-tech. About three or four stories high."
"Short and sweet." Iron Man gave him a thumbs-up.
"He's messing with you," Deadpool told Roland.
"Tch." Roland pursed his lips. "One day, when I have Priest Faraday's or Elder Planck's IQ..."
"Stop dreaming." Deadpool patted Roland's shoulder. "A high-IQ scientist doesn't fit your character. The author won't give you that chance."
"Let's watch the competition, let's watch the competition—"
"The competition again?"
"So this is what you called Gorilla City's most advanced technology?" Iron Man grew more serious as he watched the chimpanzee hostess bring out the device. "Impressive indeed."
"So I'm going to win?" Roland perked up.
"Your chances are good," Iron Man said. "Unless Wakanda has some advanced technology I don't know about."
"They shouldn't have anything like that, right?" Deadpool thought for a moment. "Haven't you been to Wakanda?"
"Maybe T'Challa has a secret weapon." Iron Man shrugged. "I can't say for sure."
Soon, both sides had presented all their exhibits, and Mister Terrific began scoring them.
The Wakandans looked rather dejected, while the apes of Gorilla City had already started popping champagne. Their attitude infuriated some of the Wakandan scientists. An argument broke out between the two sides, then turned into an all-out brawl.
"Damn, can anyone even tell which side is which once they start fighting?" Roland watched from the sidelines, happily egging things on.
