"Does Superman have any new powers now?" Superboy-Prime asked Roland. "Hypnosis or something, for instance."

"Hard to say." Roland shook his head. "All I know is that after he soaked up the sun that time, his power level got a little ridiculous."

"What are you talking about?" Lois asked curiously.

"It's a long story. In short, we discovered that Clark isn't actually the perfect gentleman," Roland said.

"Huh?" Lois was utterly baffled. "What are you even talking about?"

"What are you all doing?" Superman descended from the sky. "What happened?"

"You explain it to Peter." Roland spread his hands. "I think his worldview needs an update."

"Huh?" Superman looked confused.

"Here's the situation..." Superboy-Prime explained the competition between the two universes to the three of them.

"What?" Peter Parker looked bewildered. He really did feel as though his entire worldview had been rewritten.

"Honestly, Clark's case was pretty obvious, wasn't it? I really didn't expect you to miss it," Roland said.

"He trips over his own feet just going for a walk, he's nearsighted, and he has a little potbelly. You're telling me he's Superman?" Peter Parker asked incredulously.

"It's a disguise," Superman said helplessly. "If people figured it out, it would cause all kinds of trouble. You, of all people, should understand that."

"You look so honest. I never imagined you'd be that good at pretending..."

"So are you," Superman said. "If I hadn't seen you save Lois once, I wouldn't have noticed anything unusual about you, either—apart from your strength, agility, and reflexes being better than an ordinary person's."

"Isn't that already pretty unusual?" Roland couldn't help pointing out.

"Peter's face is just too deceptive. I thought he was an ordinary guy, too." Superman spread his hands.

"You two really are perfectly matched opponents," Roland remarked.

"Indeed." Superboy-Prime
