"The next time I come to Earth, I'll come straight to you," Darkseid said.
"Then come," Superman said with a nod.
"What a strong, dependable teammate," Iron Man marveled.
"Don't you have Thor?" Roland raised an eyebrow.
"Thor..." Iron Man glanced at Thor, who was chugging beer, and shook his head. "Let's leave him out of this."
"Hey!" Thor protested. "I'm the strongest Avenger!"
"Heh." Iron Man raised an eyebrow and decided to teach his AI that Banner was the strongest Avenger.
"Everyone's here." Banner arrived with Black Widow and Green Lantern. Iron Man froze, looking from the conspicuous red ring on Banner's hand to Black Widow beside him. "You two... got married?"
"What do you think?" Black Widow raised an eyebrow.
"When did this happen?" Captain America was puzzled too.
"Huh?" Thor looked at Banner. "Congratulations."
"No, I'm not married yet," Banner said. "This is... an artifact that suddenly flew out and wrapped itself around Hulk's hand—the Red Lantern Ring."
"Oh, okay. I thought..." Iron Man leaned closer to the Red Lantern Ring. "This looks like an energy device. What does it do?"
"It can release flames that burn in a vacuum," Banner explained. "And it can store my anger. Switching into Hulk form is much easier now."
"That's good news." Iron Man nodded. "Sounds like I won't have to worry about Hulk wrecking the place anymore."
"When has he ever wrecked the place?" Banner pursed his lips.
"Oh, we need to have a proper discussion about that..." Now that Iron Man knew Banner could store his anger, he began provoking him in every way he could.
Eventually, Dr. Banner lost his patience and gave Iron Man a beating.
Neither wore Powered Armor nor transformed into Hulk, which sounded fair, but Iron Man's physique fell short of Dr. Banner's.
