"Hey, big brother." Raven's dark side greeted Belial.
"Little sister..." Belial's mouth twitched as he looked at the kindly-faced Trigon. "Is this really our father?"
"Yep." Dark Raven nodded.
"I need a moment..." Belial rubbed his forehead. Suddenly, he wasn't so keen on acknowledging his father.
"You'll get used to it," Dark Raven said. "We've got plenty of time to spend together from now on."
Hearing that made Belial feel even more hopeless about his life.
"At this rate, all my relatives will end up having a reunion in here." Raven lifted her pendant and shook it.
"Isn't that a good thing?" Roland said. "It'll save you having to visit them."
"You really do have a unique way of comforting people." Batman walked in through the door.
"All taken care of?"
"Yes. Laden's already been sent to prison."
"That fast?" Iron Man, who was playing video games with The Flash nearby, was quite surprised. "Didn't that guy join the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency? They dealt with him that easily?"
"What's so strange about that? The facts were clear, and the evidence was conclusive," Batman said. "Besides, Bruce Wayne was the one who reported him."
"I think I know what Tony means," Roland said. "But the United States is actually very different in our two worlds. You've got far too many freaks among your politicians: Hydra remnants, Skrulls posing as humans, and schemers who have no idea how out of their depth they are."
"We have a few incompetent politicians here too, deluded enough to think they can expose our real identities and use that to control us," Batman said. "But I've dealt with all of them."
"Uh, when you say 'dealt with'... do you mean what I think you mean?" Roland asked.
"No." Batman rolled his eyes.
