"Tonight at eight, the Red Freighter Hotel banquet hall will host a dinner in honor of Captain Cold. Bring your own drinks," Francis read from an invitation. "Wally, is this a friend of yours?"

"What? Oh, no!" Wally slapped his forehead. "Those villains sent it!"

"No wonder the envelope says, 'To our fleeting little speedster.' I see." Francis nodded. "They don't seem to hate you that much, though. It's just a challenge."

"They're old enemies of Barry's! A fan club in the opposite sense of the word!" Wally said irritably. "They have this grudging respect for him, but they treat me like a snot-nosed kid!"

"So you're not going?"

"It's a stupid challenge. I'm not taking it."

"I'm interested, though." Francis smiled. "How about I go in your place?"

"How would you do that?" Wally asked.

"I'd wear your suit." Francis shrugged. "My powers can change a few of my physical traits. I just need to look convincing."

Eight that evening.

The Red Freighter Hotel.

A screen displayed a welcome to the Rogues, whose members had already taken their seats in the banquet hall.

"Friends—to our comrade Leonard Snart, known to the world as Captain Cold!" The Rogues raised their glasses to him.

Captain Cold nodded and lifted his glass. "I'm glad you could all make it. But some couldn't be here—to absent friends."

"To absent friends."

As glasses clinked, Francis walked in disguised as Kid Flash. "Looks like this is the place. Sorry I'm late. Is there any food left?"

"You?"

"West!"

"You actually dared to come?"

"You shameless little bastard! You've got some nerve!"

"You? Here—?"

"We can't get away from you anywhere, you smug, obnoxious little copycat! You want to be somebody important that badly, huh?"

The Rogues stared at Francis in shock, then began hurling abuse
