"Hee!" Marcus twirled the Golden Cudgel, making all of Atlantis begin to shake.
Fortunately, the tower Arion had left behind was extraordinarily sturdy, so it wasn't torn apart.
"All right, all right, stop," Zhu Bajie said. "You've had it for ages, and you're still this excited. You're making my eyes spin."
"Guys just can't resist a long, straight stick, let alone the Golden Cudgel," Marcus said. "Look how badly Roland and the others want one!"
"Ahem, I can make one whenever I want." Roland broke down the metal on the ground, then reassembled the matter into an identical staff.
But this staff has nothing to do with Sun Wukong. It just doesn't feel quite right, Roland thought.
"I have a lot of cleaning up to do here," Aquaman said, surveying Atlantis after the battle. "I won't keep you for dinner."
"All right. You really do have a lot on your plate." Roland shrugged. "Let's eat together next time you're free."
Aquaman nodded and led the Atlanteans off to clean up Tang Dragon Street.
"He even has to handle little things like this?" Marcus asked, watching Aquaman and his wife haul away rubble.
"Of course. I bet he'll be pouring concrete later, too. Let's not stay and get in the way," Roland said, opening a portal. "I was going to take some seafood home, but I guess that's out now."
"Does Aquaman eat fish?" Marcus asked. "That feels a little weird."
"Your master eats pork." Roland pursed his lips. "What's so strange about it?"
"When you put it that way, it makes perfect sense." Marcus nodded.
"Come on, I'll treat you two to something good," Roland said. "I know a good Sichuan restaurant in Gotham City."

As usual, a gloomy haze hung over Gotham, lending it an oppressive air.
