"Lost, have you?" The Suit taunted The Flash, detonating a bomb beside him. "You're like a bug trapped in amber. How do you expect to beat me?"

"When you're in trouble in Central City, you stand still and wait for The Flash to save you. Everybody knows that." The Flash remained calm.

At the Central City Police Department.

"I hope The Flash gets through this," Captain Cold said with a sigh. His feelings were complicated.

"The Flash is powerful. He should be fine," Doctor Alchemy said. "Besides, it's not the Rogues going after him this time. It's just some nobody."

"Exactly. People say a hero is only as formidable as his enemies. By that logic, The Flash is stronger than the entire United States Justice League put together," Captain Cold said. "The Flash thinks we're slow. Who could possibly outrun him? But that kid doesn't realize there's a reason the Rogues can always force him to go all out."

"Couldn't have said it better," Doctor Alchemy agreed.

"Because we never settle. If there's more to gain, we come back for it. They don't understand that we're far closer than their ridiculous league."

"That's exactly what I think!" Doctor Alchemy felt his bond with Captain Cold deepen.

"We steal. We kill. That's our line of work. The Rogues have an unwritten rule, a bond stronger than death itself. We watch each other's backs until we die fighting," Captain Cold said from the heart.

"Urgh—" The Flash suddenly convulsed on the autopsy table. "Urgh, ngh—It worked. I'm still alive, just as I thought. Now I have to get ready to make it work—"

"He's back from the dead?" Captain Cold shuddered and drew his gun on The Flash.

"I'm not dead, but if you freeze me now, I will be," The Flash
