"Go back?" The Second of the Fallen studied this world. "I say we stay right here. Same as before: the three of us divide it up."

"Dividing it three ways was Heaven's idea. We're not in Hell anymore, so you two can settle for being my underlings," Satan said. "I haven't forgotten how you betrayed me."

"Come on—we've known each other for years. Does it have to come to this?" the Second and Third of the Fallen asked, trembling under the terrifying force radiating from Satan.

Without their authority over Hell, they could no longer keep Satan in check. All they could hope was that he still felt some loyalty to them.

"The fact that you're still alive to serve me shows just how much loyalty I feel." Satan glanced at them. "You know what you did."

"We..." The Second and Third of the Fallen exchanged a look, then bowed together. "Boss!"

"That's more like it." Satan nodded in satisfaction.

"So, boss, how do we get back to Hell?"

"Do what Trigon did. Find a way to seduce women and have children," Satan said after some thought.

"We may be a little behind him on that front," the Second of the Fallen said. Several of his former subordinates had been Trigon's sons. None could compare to Raven, but each was still a powerful Demon.

"More than a little." The Third of the Fallen shook his head. "I'm better at seducing men."

"Then did you manage to seduce Constantine?"

"You—"

"Enough. Don't argue. Just do your best," Satan said. "Both of you."

"What about you, boss?"

"I have other things to do," Satan said. "Besides, only a handful of women could withstand my power, and they all know who I am."

"That's true." The Second and Third of the Fallen nodded.
