"This is bad. Really bad." BB put on a look of shock. "Looks like BB-chan will have to get serious!"
"Oh?" Touko Aozaki wasted no words and took another case out of the taxi.
Touko stepped on the case, snapping it open to reveal a projector inside.
"Roar!"
The projector instantly projected a shadow monster.
It was larger than Touko and had no thickness: a flat black cat made of shadow. But it only looked like a cat. In truth, it was a creature with nothing but a mouth.
"Oh my, ganging up on me?" BB blinked as the feline shadow monster charged at her. "Then you can't blame me for using cheats."
The next instant, five figures appeared beside BB.
The Alter Ego of love and hatred, M—Passionlip. Her enormous golden claws pierced the ground.
The Alter Ego of pleasure, S—Meltryllis. Her sharp mercury feet swept across the starry sky.
The Alter Ego of compassion, K—Kazuradrop. A glowing green doorway opened beneath Candy Vine's feet.
The Alter Ego of craving love, G—Kingprotea. Her enormous white body climbed onto the continent.
The Alter Ego of purity, C—Violet. Violet ribbons traced out her form.
The Sakura Five, alternate personalities created by BB, were incarnations she had made using her own emotions as material. In the process, she had collected the essences of multiple Servants and goddesses and combined them into cut-and-paste Spirit Origins. They were inherently illegal composites, in essence inhuman killing dolls.
BB had excised them as "things a perfect AI doesn't need," creating them from five emotions: love and hatred (Passionlip), pleasure (Meltryllis), purity (Violet), craving love (Kingprotea), and compassion (Kazuradrop). They were monsters bound by those attributes.
