"Young man, you may attack first!"

The white-bearded old man swept his hand out, giving Bai Shi the first move.

"All right! Lopunny, use Agility!"

Bai Shi wasted no time launching his attack.

He remembered that Mega Blaziken's Ability was Speed Boost.

That meant the longer the battle dragged on, the worse things would get for him.

Naturally, Bai Shi wanted to end this quickly.

Lopunny bent its legs like compressed springs, then stomped off the ground, bursting forward at incredible speed.

In the blink of an eye, it was right in front of Mega Blaziken.

"Lopunny, take it down! Use Mega Kick!"

Bai Shi pumped his fist and shouted to Lopunny.

He hoped to catch his opponent off guard and take Mega Blaziken down in one blow.

Lopunny raised its right foot and whipped it toward Mega Blaziken's abdomen.

"A fine combination of moves. Unfortunately, it won't work against me!"

"Mega Blaziken, use Detect!"

The white-bearded old man remained composed as he calmly gave his command.

He wasn't Korrina. He wouldn't be so easy to handle.

A sharp gleam flashed through Mega Blaziken's eyes at his command.

It quickly read the path of the attack, then suddenly leaned backward with its body held rigid, dodging the swift blow.

"Our turn to attack! Mega Blaziken, use Thunder Punch!"

The moment Lopunny's kick missed, the white-bearded old man launched his counterattack.

Mega Blaziken raised its fist, electricity crackling around it, and drove it toward Lopunny at point-blank range.

Unable to dodge in time, Lopunny was sent flying by Mega Blaziken's Thunder Punch, taking considerable damage.

"Mega Blaziken, use Flamethrower!"

The white-bearded old man pressed his advantage, ordering Mega Blaziken to keep attacking.

Mega Blaziken opened its mouth and spewed a thick column of searing flames toward Lopunny.

"Lopunny, use Ice Beam!"
