Team Galactic Attacks

As the Grand Festival drew to a close, Team Galactic finally made its move after a long silence.

With the Galactic Bomb and Red Chain complete, Team Galactic's plan had entered its final stage.

Only the Legendary Pokémon of the Three Lakes stood between them and their goal of summoning Palkia and Dialga.

Since Bai Shi had taken care of J ahead of time, Team Galactic had to do the job itself.

To improve its chances, Team Galactic had even developed a high-tech weapon against Legendary Pokémon, modeled on J's Petrification Device.

Only after everything was ready did they move to capture the Lake Guardians.

Their first target was Mesprit of Lake Verity.

With part of the Pokémon League's attention on the Grand Festival,

Team Galactic's airship appeared without warning over Lake Verity, carrying the Galactic Bomb.

They dropped the bomb, made from a Meteorite, into Lake Verity.

Boom!

The explosion blasted Mesprit straight out of the other dimension where it lived.

The Pokémon League had posted guards at Lake Verity in advance, but they were no match for Team Galactic.

Saturn dealt with them in short order.

That left Mesprit with no one to help it. The moment it appeared, Team Galactic swarmed it.

Mesprit was hardly a Legendary Pokémon known for fighting.

Outnumbered by Team Galactic, Mesprit soon fell.

Team Galactic captured it with their high-tech weapon.

Mesprit's capture set off a chain reaction.

Strange phenomena appeared above Lake Valor and Lake Acuity at the same time.

Clearly, Mesprit's plight had awakened Uxie and Azelf.

As soon as they woke, Uxie and Azelf used Teleport to reach Lake Verity, hoping to rescue Mesprit from Team Galactic.
