Including the Electrium Z gifted by Tapu Koko, Bai Shi had successfully obtained three Z-Crystals of different types since arriving in the Alola Region.

Those gains alone had made the money Bai Shi spent on the trip worthwhile.

What was more, Bai Shi had also caught a new Pokémon—Pyukumuku.

Bai Shi's trip to Alola could certainly be described as a "perfect start."

Before arriving in the Alola Region, I obtained a Flying-type Z-Crystal through the Check-In System.

With these three new Z-Crystals, I can now use Z-Moves of four different types.

Compared to Mega Evolution, which has strict restrictions, Z-Moves are far more widely applicable.

They aren't limited by a Pokémon's species. As long as a Pokémon knows a move of that type, it can use the corresponding Z-Move.

Although they don't last as long as Mega Evolution, they undoubtedly have the edge in instant power and versatility.

My first priority is to master the Z-Moves I already have.

As for collecting Z-Crystals of other types, that can wait a little.

With that thought, Bai Shi decided to slow down for a while and practice Z-Moves with his Pokémon.

The Z-Moves Bai Shi could use were Normalium Z's Pulverizing Pancake, Fighting Z's All-Out Pummeling, Electrium Z's Gigavolt Havoc, and Flyinium Z's Supersonic Skystrike.

Of these Z-Moves, Bai Shi chose the more broadly applicable Normalium Z and Fighting Z as the focus of his practice.

Each Z-Move came with its own set of gestures and movements.

These required sufficient rapport and coordination between the Pokémon Trainer and their Pokémon.

As such, teaching every Pokémon on his team these Z-Moves would take a considerable amount of time.

Bai Shi could only prioritize, choosing some of his core Pokémon to focus on practicing with Normalium Z and Fighting Z alongside him.
