"Come on out, Buneary!"
Bai Shi let the Buneary he had just caught out again.
He introduced her to his other Pokémon.
"Stara!" (Little sis, stick with me and I'll look out for you!)
Staravia flew over to Buneary and gave her an enthusiastic welcome.
As the team grew, Staravia, who fancied himself its leader, was thrilled.
Dunsparce hesitated for a while but still didn't dare get too close to Buneary.
He was too shy around strangers. He had no idea what to say to her.
Zangoose raised a paw and waved a few times by way of greeting.
He usually couldn't be bothered with weak Pokémon like her.
He had only greeted her for his Pokémon Trainer's sake.
Stantler, on the other hand, was just as delighted as Staravia.

It wasn't until Bai Shi set a big handful of Poffins in front of her that she relaxed.
The Poffins were why she had agreed to join him in the first place.
"Hahaha, you really are a little glutton!"
Seeing Buneary tuck in, all her earlier shyness gone, Bai Shi smiled.
As the saying went, a good appetite was a blessing.
The more a Pokémon ate, the faster it grew.
For Bai Shi, that was good news.
It meant Buneary would surely grow faster than others of her kind that ate less.
And Bai Shi wasn't the sort of Pokémon Trainer who would skimp on his Pokémon's food to save money.
"If I remember right, Buneary needs to be very close to her Pokémon
