Solaceon Town

After dealing with the Pokémon Hunter, Bai Shi continued east. He rode his Bicycle at full speed and finally reached Solaceon Town.

He had come not only to dig for Mega Stones in the ruins, but also to give Team Galactic some trouble.

But he had spent so much time absorbed in training that the journey had taken longer than planned.

Bai Shi wasn't sure whether he was too late.

So, as soon as Nurse Joy had healed his Pokémon, he headed straight for the nearby ruins.

Meanwhile, Ash and his friends had arrived in Solaceon Town ahead of him.

They had been helping Dawn prepare for the Solaceon Contest, which was about to be held there.

Then they happened to run into Kengo, Dawn's childhood friend from Twinleaf Town.

He was collecting Contest Ribbons too, making him one of Dawn's rivals.

After chatting, they decided to visit the ruins together and see the statues of Palkia and Dialga.

Kengo and Ash also had a battle at the entrance to the ruins.

During the battle, Ash's Turtwig was overwhelmed by Kengo's Breloom and its Energy Ball.

Ash was immediately taken with the move and hoped Kengo could teach it to Turtwig.

Before Kengo could agree, something strange happened inside the ruins.

Saturn, a Team Galactic commander, had used the Dragon, Iron, and Splash Plates to take the Spear Pillar from the ruins.

That sent the Unown there out of control.

Team Galactic, its mission complete, simply walked away.

Team Rocket, following behind, was left to take the blame.

Ash and his friends at the entrance were dragged into it as well.

They were all trapped inside the ruins and attacked by a swarm of Unown.

Only Aipom's sudden Evolution saved them.
