The Lost Eevee

After the battle ended, Bai Shi parted ways with Ash and the others.

He stayed in Solaceon Town alone, searching for Mega Stones as originally planned.

With Stantler in tow, he spent several days wandering through the nearby ancient ruins.

Unfortunately, he found nothing.

Bai Shi could only stop counting on luck and rethink his next move.

He was determined to achieve Mega Evolution, and a minor setback certainly wasn't going to make him give up.

"If there's nothing in Solaceon Town, I'll go to Celestic Town!"

Looking at the map on his computer, Bai Shi soon found his next destination.

Celestic Town lay northwest of Solaceon Town. Known as the oldest town in the Sinnoh Region, it also had plenty of ruins.

Bai Shi refused to believe he couldn't find a Mega Stone there.

Since it was a long journey, Bai Shi made a point of stocking up before leaving.

"Staravia's appetite has clearly grown a lot lately. Evolution might be just around the corner."

"I'd better pack some extra Poffins in Flying-type flavors."

"Besides, Staravia really likes jerky. I'll buy some of that, too!"

"And while I'm at it, some snacks for Buneary..."

Once he had bought his travel supplies, Bai Shi hopped on his bicycle and headed straight for Celestic Town.

"Apart from Pikachu, the other two Pokémon were new ones Ash caught in the Sinnoh Region."

"Those Pokémon are nowhere near their peak strength."

"They aren't all that different from mine."

"Even so, I nearly lost."

"If we battle again in the future, my chances of winning might not be very good."

Along the way, Bai Shi reviewed his earlier battle against Ash.
