At Bai Shi's command, Zangoose raised a fist crackling with electricity and prepared to strike.

But the electricity around its fist suddenly veered away, flying toward Electrike nearby.

Electrike welcomed it, storing the current in its fur. A look of comfort spread across its face.

"Good. It really does have Lightning Rod!"

Bai Shi nodded in satisfaction at the sight.

After a series of tests, he had learned the basics about Electrike.

Electrike was a pure Electric-type Pokémon with the Lightning Rod Ability.

It could not only nullify damage from Electric-type moves but also draw them into its body to boost its Special Attack.

It currently knew four moves in total.

They were Tackle, Thunder Wave, Shock Wave, and Charge.

Bai Shi recorded everything he had learned on his computer.

He then used that information to plan Electrike's training.

After all, this was the first Pokémon Bai Shi had caught that wasn't Normal-type.

If he trained it well, it could help fix the lack of variety in his battling style.
