The moment Staraptor entered the field, Stealth Rock gave him a rough welcome.

Before he could show off, he was left battered and covered in dust.

"Staraptor!" (Bai Shi, why didn't you warn me?)

Staraptor shot Bai Shi a resentful look. What an embarrassing entrance.

"That Staravia evolved? He looks well trained!"

"Onix, let's see how strong he is now. Use Dragon Pulse!"

Roark eyed Staraptor's noticeably larger-than-average frame with interest.

Onix launched a probing attack, breathing out a green shock wave shaped like a dragon's head.

"Staraptor, use Agility!"

As Dragon Pulse came at him, Staraptor beat his wings and burst forward, dodging it with ease.

"Staraptor, use Air Slash!"

Bai Shi seized the opening and ordered Staraptor to strike back.

An Onix's standard height was nearly nine meters.

To Staraptor, he was an enormous target.

Bai Shi intended to bring him down with Staraptor's speed.

Several translucent blades shot toward Onix.

Unable to dodge in time, Onix took the Air Slash and suffered a little damage.

"Onix, counter with Iron Tail!"

At Roark's command, Onix raised his white-glowing tail and lashed out at Staraptor in midair.

"Staraptor, dodge with Agility, then keep using Air Slash!"

Bai Shi's expression did not change as he gave the order.

Staraptor beat his wings hard, using his speed to slip past Onix's Iron Tail.

He circled to his opponent's side and unleashed several translucent blades.

They struck Onix again, dealing more damage.

"That Staraptor seems even faster than that Zangoose."

"I need a way to slow him down!"

"Onix, use Sandstorm!"

Roark's thoughts raced. He quickly settled on a strategy and gave Onix the order.

A fierce sandstorm swept across the field, swirling around Onix like armor.

It engulfed Staraptor in the air as well.

The sandstorm dealt Staraptor continuous damage.
