After several hours of experiments, Mingyou was close to developing a fear of the Synchronizer. The drain on his energy was nothing; the thing was just genuinely hard to operate!
Meltan was simple-minded enough to let him control its body without a fuss. But whenever it spotted something interesting, it snatched control right back without hesitation.
"I really regret agreeing to this experiment..."
Becoming a Pokémon today had given Mingyou an experience he would never forget. Emotional synchronization was definitely better done with a Pokémon he could actually communicate with. At least then it wouldn't seize control of its body like this.
Synchrony, however, was delighted. She clasped her hands together and said happily, "After Ms. Akari, you're the only person to complete every test task perfectly in one go. You did cost me half my Synchronizers, but thank you anyway."
"Akari tried this too?"
Mingyou was surprised. He'd never heard about it.
Synchrony nodded and explained, "Hardly any students were willing to test the Synchronizer. I found her by offering BP as a reward. She tested the prototype; yours is the fourth version, after three rounds of improvements."
"I see..."
Mingyou nodded. It was probably back when Akari had just started working at Blueberry Academy. She hadn't had much money, so she'd taken the job. Once she got busy, she no longer had the time.
Synchrony handed the Synchronizer back to him. "You can keep this unit. Just keep collecting data for me. It stores the experimental data automatically. Once it reaches capacity, connect it with a data cable and use your Rotom Phone to send me the data."
Mingyou took it, having assumed she would reclaim it once the experiment was over. "Are you sure it's okay to give it to me?"
"It's fine. Passing the tests perfectly
