There was no doubt about it. He must have run into danger while helping Ogerpon take back her Mask. And what else could that danger be but the monster?

The prophecy seemed to concern something that would happen soon. Could he avoid it by not going? Change the future? It probably wouldn't be that easy. He couldn't leave the Mask with the monster forever...

Seeing his expression, Akari asked worriedly, "What's wrong?"

"Well..."

Mingyou told her about Sabrina's prophecy. After hearing it, the worry left Akari's face, and she smiled. "I thought it was something worse. If you're worried, I can go with you."

"No, thanks..."

Mingyou waved her off. He didn't want Akari getting caught up in danger with him. "I don't need you worrying about me. Just take care of yourself."

"Listen to you... Anyone who didn't know better would think you were older than me. I heard you're only fifteen. I'm already sixteen."

"For Ogerpon."

Akari glanced over. At some point, the group chasing one another around had grown: Munchlax and Skwovet had joined in.

Mingyou went on, "That monster stole Ogerpon's most precious Mask. I'm going to get it back for her, so I have to go!"

"I see... But—"

"Enough. I don't need your help. I can handle this myself."
