Ning Fengzhi secured the throne after Qian Renxue secretly concealed Ning Mu’s Human Skin Mask and made him appear to be the real Xue Beng. Xue Tian left with most of his forces, and Ning Fengzhi was crowned Emperor of the newly named Nine Treasures Empire, leaving Qian Renxue hinting at her interest in spending time with Li Bai.

• Ning Fengzhi defended his attempted ascent to the throne as necessary for Heaven Dou’s people, while Marshal Ge Long accused Xue Beng of being an impostor.
• Qian Renxue examined Xue Beng, secretly disguised Ning Mu’s face as his own, and destroyed his Human Skin Mask without exposing him.
• After Qian Renxue declared Xue Beng genuine, Xue Tian accused Ning Fengzhi and Spirit Hall of conspiring and led most of his army away to rebuild Heaven Dou.

The chapter ended with Qian Renxue struggling through her Angel God Trial because of her inner turmoil over Bibi Dong and her father’s past.

Tang San completed the Asura God's trials through the sixth, became a level-ninety-three Titled Douluo, and found Gangzi to complete the trial requiring him to kill or severely injure him. Their battle began with Tang San knocking Gangzi backward with his Clear Sky Hammer.

• Bai Ranmo completed six Divine Trials, while Tang San completed the Asura God's fourth and fifth trials with help from the Four Disasters.
• Tang San hunted Soul Beasts for a year and a half to fill the Soul Rings on both Martial Souls, then drew the Asura Demon Sword and learned that his next trials involved Tang Chen and Gangzi.
• Xuanwu led Tang San and the Four Disasters to Gangzi, and Tang San accused his former master of ruining his cultivation and hurting Xiao Wu before declaring he would kill him.

Gangzi and Bibi Cannon unleashed a god-level attack against Tang San, sacrificing the last of Bibi Dong’s consciousness in an attempt to kill him. The chapter ended as Tang San detonated his soul rings and struck back, leaving the clash unresolved.

• Bibi Cannon told Gangzi she could release her remaining evil soul power for a god-level strike, but doing so would erase the last wisp of Bibi Dong’s consciousness.

Gangzi escaped after Bibi Dong defeated Tang San, then learned that his Rakshasa God's Eighth Trial reward had reduced all his Soul Rings to ten years. He ended the chapter furious over the reward and still determined to destroy Tang San.

• Bibi Dong's attack overwhelmed Tang San, but Hanami saved his life after he collapsed unconscious.

Gangzi’s soul rings all turned white, weakening him despite his new Titled Douluo status, while Dai Mubai persuaded him to accept the change as a sign of greatness. After Gangzi withdrew to recover, Dai Mubai secretly recruited Oscar and Ma Hongjun to help him betray Gangzi during the Rakshasa ninth trial, leaving Ma Hongjun stunned that Dai Mubai had also been chosen for the divine trial.

• Gangzi’s eighteen soul rings changed into ten-year rings, and Dai Mubai convinced him that they would make future generations admire his effort.
• Gangzi collapsed from his injuries and diminished soul power, then ordered everyone to leave while he recuperated.

Qian Renxue learned that opening her final Angel God Trial would require Qian Daoliu’s death, and Golden Crocodile Douluo interrupted their argument with news of another incident.

• Oscar and Ma Hongjun agreed to support Dai Mubai, though all three secretly planned to betray one another and claim godhood for themselves.
