Chapter Summaries

Uchiha Yufeng reunited with Guang after she turned against Akatsuki and delivered its intelligence, then brought her back to Konoha. At the Chunin Exams, the time-traveling black-robed figure prepared for an Otsutsuki threat as Boruto and Mirai realized Naruto had disappeared.

• Orochimaru and Black and White Zetsu retreated from the battlefield, but Guang attacked them with Amaterasu and destroyed their bodies after Black Zetsu escaped underground.
• Uchiha Yufeng arrived, reunited with Guang, and took her hand as he led her into Konoha.
• Guang offered Uchiha Yufeng a scroll containing intelligence about Akatsuki and Black and White Zetsu, and he accepted it after they entered the village.
• At the Chunin Exams, the black-robed figure noticed an unusual Chakra fluctuation, then closed his eyes to prepare for the possible arrival of an Otsutsuki.

Mirai, Boruto, and the Black-robed figure found Naruto in the rest room after Uzuki Yugao verified that they knew him. Boruto worried about Naruto’s injuries, but Naruto insisted on continuing the Chunin Exams and becoming Hokage before Gaara arrived.

• Fū, Nara Shikamaru, Second Pillar, and Temari advanced to Chunin after the exams.
• Namikaze Minato returned to Konoha and took up the role of Fourth Hokage, restoring Naruto's status as his descendant.
• Second Pillar trained at the Uchiha Clan's training ground and learned from Mikoto that Yufeng had left the village to address Konoha Hospital's medical-ninja needs.

• Uchiha Yufeng took Uzumaki Naruto, Boruto, Mirai, and the Black-robed figure out of Konoha and continued toward Tanzaku Town.
• Otsutsuki Urashiki emerged from a Space-Time Rift and attacked Uzumaki Naruto with his fishing rod.

• Kurenai and Yugao followed the men after they left, and Kakashi joined them when Kurenai signaled him.
• Sasuke told Kakashi that his mother had paused his Sharingan training and that he would resume taking missions with Kakashi.
