After claiming Immortal Herbs at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and giving one to Xue Qinghe, Luofan faced the arrival of Ning Fengzhi, Sword Douluo, and Ning Rongrong.

• Luofan chose the Peerless Prodigy entry, evolved his Martial Soul into the Golden Exquisite Pagoda, and joined Xue Qinghe on a trip to obtain his first Soul Ring.
• Luofan bound the Soul Ring Growth entry, trained under a Soul King tutor, and watched his first Soul Ring rise to a Thousand-Year Ring as he advanced in Soul Power.
• Luofan helped Xue Qinghe establish Heaven Dou Daily, earned his trust, and received a 60,000-year Spirit Condensation Wisdom Skull that improved his mental power.
• Luofan obtained his second Soul Ring and chose Rule Addition, which enhanced his Suppression and Shield skills, then used Shield to protect Ning Rongrong from Chen Xin’s flying sword.

Luofan refused the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s attempt to reclaim him, drew closer to Qian Renxue and Yue Guan, and grew stronger while cultivating and hunting a fourth Soul Ring. He reached Nuoding City and offered Tang San a Nine-Grade Purple Ganoderma in exchange for the Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record, but Tang San refused and questioned how Luofan knew of it.

• Luofan confronted Ning Fengzhi and refused to return to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, revealing his Nine-Story Pagoda and three black Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Rings.
• Bibi Dong uncovered Qian Renxue’s identity as Xue Qinghe and tried to take Luofan, but Luofan’s support skill helped Snake Lance Douluo and Porcupinefish Douluo drive her back.
