Ling Han killed the Ice Dragon King, took Tang San as his disciple, and helped him grow through training, medicinal cultivation, and new Soul Rings. After securing the Ice Empress and Snow Empress as future Soul Rings, Ling Han left Tang San stronger and turned to studying dual Soul Cores and ways to revive the Empresses.

• Ling Han killed the Hundred-Thousand-Year Ice Dragon, absorbed its Soul Ring and right arm bone, and reached level seventy-six with seven Soul Rings.
• Ling Han met Tang San, became an honored patron of Nouding Academy, and accepted him as a disciple after Tang San joined the academy and met Xiao Wu.
• Ling Han helped Tang San defeat Yu Xiaogang’s claims about Blue Silver Grass, guided him to absorb a Lone Bamboo Soul Ring, and taught him to strengthen and reshape his grass.
• Ling Han retrieved the Ice Dragon King’s torso bone, broke through level eighty, and traveled to the Far North to make the Ice Empress his Eighth Soul Ring.

Ling Han trained the Imperial Fighting Team, helped Tang San and Xiao Wu grow stronger, and gathered allies and rare treasures while pursuing ways to revive the Snow Empress and Ice Empress. The stretch ended with Qian Renxue revealing her true identity and her ambitions to Ling Han.

• Ling Han completed his Dual Soul Cores after the Snow Empress’s sacrifice, reached the peak of Level 98, and promised Xiao Wu he would protect her and Tang San.
• Ling Han became the Imperial Fighting Team’s supervising teacher at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, appointed Tang San captain, and drove Yu Tianheng and Qin Ming toward Shrek Academy.
• Ling Han led the team through combat training in the Star Dou Great Forest, where Tang San killed a Man Faced Demon Spider and later gained a powerful fourth Soul Ring from a Seven-Leaf Swordgrass.
• Ling Han improved the Eight Spider Soul Bone at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and gave it to Tang San, while Dugu Bo reached Level 95 and prepared to settle his grudge with Chrysanthemum Guan.
• Ling Han recruited Yue Guan and Gui Mei, gave Xiao Wu Lovesick Heartbreak Red, and took Tang San to see Ah Yin before planting her at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
• Ling Han and the Snow Empress enlisted the Far North clans to search for the Ten-Thousand-Year Nine-Grade Ginseng King, which Ling Han captured after half a month of searching.
• Ling Han tested the Imperial Fighting Team’s progress and defeated Golden Crocodile Douluo in a spar, then declined his invitation to join the Worship Hall.
• Qian Renxue met Ling Han in her true form, explained her ties to Spirit Hall and Qian Daoliu, and shared her plan to rule Heaven Dou and improve people’s lives.
