Fang Yao stared speechlessly at the officers as they questioned how she had known something like this would happen at President Qian's home and why she hadn't called the police.
Fang Yao slumped over the table, looking utterly defeated. "Officers, would you believe me if I told you?"
The officers: "..."
"See? Without evidence, why would you believe me?"
"If I'd said President Qian's assistant was going to bring him a woman today and get involved in something obscene, you'd probably have thought I was messing with you."
One look at the officers' faces told Fang Yao what they were thinking, so... she shrugged.
An officer cleared his throat. "Fine, let's say you're right. Then why didn't you call the police when that man said it? Or were you..."
Fang Yao raised a hand to stop him. "Hold on. You can't accuse me of anything! The viewers called the police!! Someone had already reported it. Why would I call again?" Even the police weren't going to pin this on her.
Pouting, Fang Yao waved the cameraman over and quickly pulled up the viewers' comments for the officers to see. She raised an eyebrow. That clears my name, right?
"How did you know the viewers had called the police?" a female officer asked curiously.
Fang Yao's squared shoulders sagged. Keeping them up was exhausting. "I'm not blind." She yawned.

[I'm staying in Fang Yao's stream. My sixth sense tells me there's more juicy gossip to come if I stick with her.]
