The elderly woman's mouth had been gagged. Tears slid silently down her face, but she did not make the slightest sound of pleading either.

"Old Zhu! Mrs. Zhu!" someone in the crowd cried, eyes red.

"Li Huo, are you even human? Old Zhu and his wife have spent their whole lives doing good and earning blessings! How many people in this town have they saved? And you actually laid hands on them?!"

"Release Old Zhu! Otherwise, we'll fight you to the death!"

"That's right! There are so many of us! Why the hell should we fear him?"

Outrage swept through the crowd. Dozens of unaffiliated Soul Masters summoned their martial souls, Soul Rings lighting up one after another as they surrounded the Fierce Wolf Group.
