Salasha wiped the stool three times without expression. After sitting down, she held out her hand to Luo Bin. "Salasha Forgini. It's a pleasure to be your classmate."
With that expression, Salasha ought to have been holding a knife—one with a gleaming, freshly sharpened blade. Luo Bin glanced toward the High Table and found all the professors watching him.
Unity and friendship, was it?
Luo Bin promptly shook Salasha's hand. It was cold, like the ice on the Black Lake in winter, and so thin he could feel the bones.
"Robin Sear. Nice to meet you!"
With the Sorting Ceremony over, the feast officially began. Salasha radiated such a forbidding aura that the students around her ate in trepidation.
Luo Bin was the exception, of course. He lost himself in the roast meat, sausages, fruit, and other delicious food.
After the meal, Salasha stopped Luo Bin, wanting him to show her around. "Sorry, I have something very important to discuss with Professor Severus Snape. I'm sure Goyle and Crabbe would be happy to show you around the Castle!"
Salasha swept a cold gaze over the two hulking boys behind Draco, making Goyle and Crabbe tremble.
"With their builds... I wouldn't be able to resist drawing my wand and blasting them to pieces, just to stop them blocking my view like a human wall."
At that, Goyle's and Crabbe's legs shook even harder. Abandoning their "master," Draco, they scrambled out of the Great Hall.
"Luo Bin, I happen to need to see Professor Snape too. Let's go together!"
As he spoke, Draco squeezed between Salasha and Luo Bin.
In truth, Draco was not particularly brave. But he had one defining trait: whenever his backing was stronger than his opponent's, or he knew their weakness, he became exceedingly bold and arrogant.
