Knowing how petty Lucius Malfoy could be, Luo Bin thought he might well do all three.

Ron lifted his head from the aluminum bucket. His blue eyes were full of fear and regret. None of the three possibilities Luo Bin had named was something an eleven-year-old could bear.

"Headmaster Dumbledore won't let Lucius do whatever he wants!" Harry said firmly.

"Of course he won't. Albus Dumbledore genuinely cares about every student!"

Luo Bin noticed something was wrong with Ron's mood. He got up and opened the window to let in some air. "Ron, Draco wasn't hurt, and his mood didn't even sour. He laughed himself silly watching you vomit slugs. Lucius won't come after you or your parents. Oh, Hagrid, what did you plant in the yard?"

Rubeus Hagrid had a bit of a gift for farming. The pumpkins he had grown last year had each been bigger than the last. This year, he had outdone himself: one was as big as a carport.

Hearing that his parents would not be dragged into this put Ron at ease. He carried the aluminum bucket to the window and gazed at the enormous pumpkins with interest. Halloween
