Ever since Professor McGonagall had confiscated his prefect badge, the people he had docked points from or punished with thousand-word reports kept popping up in front of him without warning to mock and ridicule him!

Some deliberately wore their wizarding robes improperly, leaving their ties undone and their arms out of their sleeves, swaying as they walked like some sort of ghoul;

Some grinned as they tore up sheets of white paper, then tossed the scraps into the air as Percy passed, showering him with them;

Some used a Magic Quill to scribble on Percy's wizarding robes. The words only appeared after a delay, leaving him unable to find the culprit.

At dinner that evening, the word "IDIOT" had appeared in huge red letters on the back of his robes. When people smiled at him, he had thought they were greeting him. Later... his face had gone livid with anger;

Of course, what Percy found most outrageous was the behavior of his two younger brothers: playing pranks, making up stupid songs, and spreading rumors that Percy was a villain.
