"Hagrid, if you leave, what'll happen to the animals on the Hunting Grounds?"
Ron asked.
"Er, I think someone will take good care of them!"
"Who?"
Harry asked.
Hagrid sipped his tea without answering. Luo Bin answered for him. "That person's right here, Harry, Ron, Hermione. His 'angry act' has already been exposed. How can you still believe him?"
"No, I didn't lie to them. Not this time, at least!"
"Hagrid, Luo Bin, what are you two talking in riddles about?"
Ron asked, baffled.
"Why don't you ask Hagrid what his new job is?"
"Hagrid, what job did Dumbledore offer you?"
"Hagrid, stop keeping us guessing. Tell us!"
"Yeah! If you don't, I'll... take Mackled Malaclaw to Sophia in Hogsmeade!"
Hagrid set down his cup with a helpless sigh. "All right, I'll tell you! You all know I love animals. I know what most of them are like, what they eat, and what magical abilities they have. So Mr. Dumbledore sent me an invitation to teach Care of Magical Creatures."
"Care of Magical Creatures?! Hagrid, you're going to be a teacher?"
Harry asked in shock.
"Yeah! Me, without even a school diploma, becoming a teacher. And I can use a wand to cast magic now, too!"
"Brilliant! That's absolutely brilliant!"
"Thank you. Thank you, all of you. If it weren't for you, I might've carried the blame for being the 'Heir' my whole life. We've been talking so long, those hamburgers must've digested by now. Want some more Ferret Sandwiches? I learned a new recipe from Lins. I promise they're delicious!"
"No, thanks. I really can't eat another bite!"
Ron clutched his stomach and turned down Hagrid's offer of more food.
