"Ron, if someone told you every player on the Chudley Cannons was trash, what would you do?"

Ron clenched his little fists as he spoke.
"Then you should be glad Hermione managed to control her temper."

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. With Luo Bin's reminder, Ron quickly understood why Hermione had been so angry.
Thanks to Gilderoy Lockhart, Harry no longer had to fight for the travel memoirs on his list. Luo Bin and Ron weren't so lucky; they had to compete with a crowd of women.
The shop felt too stuffy to Harry, so he headed toward the edge of the crowd. Ginny stood there quietly, small and well-behaved, carrying a battered cauldron.
"Well, look who it is. The famous Harry Potter walked into Flourish and Blotts, got mobbed and photographed, and had books thrust into his arms. You must be awfully proud of yourself!"
Whenever Draco ran into the Main Character Group, he switched straight into his smug, mocking mode.
"Don't say that! Harry didn't want any of it!"
Ginny, who had been keeping her head down in the background, stepped in front of Harry and glared at Draco.
"Harry Potter, you're something else. You found yourself a girlfriend over the summer! Your taste isn't much to speak of, though. Round face, red hair, shabby clothes, shabby books in a battered cauldron. Are you planning to be poor for the rest of your life?"
Ginny idolized Harry Potter. At Draco's teasing about her being his "girlfriend," her face flushed bright red.
"Draco, apologize to my sister right now, or I'll beat you black and blue like I did at the Quidditch match!"
Ron came over carrying a stack of books, glaring fiercely.
