Bang!

The two enormous apes tumbled into a tangled heap, their massive weight slipping out of control. The slender branches could no longer support them and snapped one after another, sending both bodies crashing helplessly toward the ground.

Ignoring the two Soul Beasts locked together, Tang Shan pushed off a branch with his toes and swiftly pursued the Multi-Brained Monkey. This time, no Soul Beast could stop him from catching it.

Gah, gah, gah! Awooo! Scree, scree!

The Multi-Brained Monkey turned its enormous head to look back. Seeing Tang Shan rapidly closing the distance, it panicked and let out a jumble of incoherent screeches. Clearly, it had already foreseen its own fate.

Scree!

A sharp blast of Mental Power struck Tang Shan again. Agony shot through his mind, but just as before, it did nothing to hinder him.

His immense will enveloped his entire body. Under its direction, his boiling blood and surging Soul Power meshed ever more perfectly, then erupted into even greater strength.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

His body tore through the air, bringing him beside the Multi-Brained Monkey in the blink of an eye. His blue-black, fan-sized hand reached for its slender neck. As it turned and swiped its claws in an attempt to resist, a disdainful sneer curled Tang Shan's lips.

Riiip!

Its sharp claws scraped across his incredibly tough skin, beneath which thick tendons bulged. They did not injure Tang Shan in the slightest. He did not even feel them.

His hand closed around coarse fur and a vigorously pulsing carotid artery.

Tang Shan remained impassive as he gazed at the pleading look in the Multi-Brained Monkey's large eyes.
