"Yes. Although Sirius always resented him for joining the Death Eaters, Regulus was his younger brother," Dumbledore said. Rolls of white cloth appeared out of thin air and wrapped themselves around Regulus's body.
Then Dumbledore gently lifted Regulus's body and laid it in the boat. "We cannot leave him here. He deserves a proper burial. He was Sirius's family, after all."
Harry felt conflicted. Knowing Regulus had been a Death Eater made it hard to feel any warmth toward the young man, yet he was also Sirius's brother.
Watching Dumbledore lift the body, Will asked, "Professor, are we taking him back to the Black family home so Sirius can bury him?"
"Of course, Will, of course." Dumbledore had Harry board the boat. "He was a member of the Black family."
Will nodded inwardly. Now we can get the real Locket. It's at 12 Grimmauld Place, in that old fellow Kreacher's hands.
After switching the Lockets all those years ago, Regulus had told Kreacher to leave with the real one, atoning with his life for joining the Death Eaters. Will had no dislike for someone who could shoulder that sort of responsibility.
"Let's go. We'll take Regulus home first." Dumbledore pushed the boat off, while Will rose into the air and flew toward the shore.
The door of 12 Grimmauld Place slammed shut behind the three of them.
Sirius walked into the entrance hall, wearing a distinctly Muggle-style shirt. His hair was even messier than the last time Will had seen him.
His hands were smeared with grease, and his smile held a hint of apology. "Sorry, I was modifying my new motorbike. Kreacher! Bring our guests some tea!"
He clearly hadn't expected Dumbledore to turn up with Harry and Will. Wiping his hands, he said, "Harry, you did brilliantly
