Will's laughter gradually faded, and his expression grew calm. Standing on the barren ground, he looked up at the sky. Beneath the overcast clouds, the world was a wash of gray.
To be honest, he was not entirely satisfied. His Transfiguration had reached LV6 only because he had glimpsed part of its true nature; he wanted a deeper understanding.
With that thought, Will looked at the panel.

While working toward LV7, he would refine his Transfiguration further. Will suspected that LV7 was Dumbledore's level. The old man seemed past his prime, but who knew how much he was actually hiding?
Will's figure gradually vanished. It was as though nothing had happened in the barren fields.
"Whoosh—squelch—"
An arrow whistled through the air and pinned a rabbit to the ground. The wooden arrow had pierced its belly, and blood spilled from the wound. A hunter in coarse cloth clothes, with a quiver on his back, rushed over and excitedly picked up the rabbit.
Such a fat rabbit, right after leaving home. Luck was on my side today.
Before he could finish celebrating, a pheasant flashed through the grass nearby. Unable to hide his excitement, the Muggle hunter hurried after it.
Several hours later, the hunter had several animals tied to his body.
He could no longer contain his delight. It seemed the gods had blessed him today. His luck was absurdly good, as though these animals were deliberately offering themselves up.
Two rabbits, three pheasants, a wild duck, and even two snakes.
A fine haul. I could sell these for a good sum and even treat myself to some snake meat. At the thought, the hunter swallowed.
