With George and Fred back, the mood around the dinner table grew lively at once.

The two of them kept sharing news about Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.

George picked up a chicken leg roasted golden and glistening. "Those Skiving Snackboxes are selling incredibly well. Quite a few students have bought them already. I just hope Professor McGonagall doesn't have too many students vanish from her classes once term starts."

"Could you get me some?" Harry took a few freshly baked salted rolls and dipped them in his soup.

He wanted them to skip Snape's Defense Against the Dark Arts classes. Who knew what Snape's lessons would be like?

"Oh, Harry, skipping class is a bad habit. George, Fred, you two shouldn't have invented something like that."

Mr. Weasley spoke with a perfectly straight face.

George and Fred exchanged a look. If their dad hadn't regularly sneaked out at night when he was young, and bent the rules at work for his own hobbies, they might have believed him.

"All right, all right. We also fixed a little problem with the Canary Creams recipe," Fred added proudly. "Anyone who eats one can't fly very fast or very high. That wasn't easy."

"So Professor Flitwick won't have to worry about students turning back into people and falling from a great height." Harry couldn't help laughing.

"Exactly!" the twins said in unison, sitting down on either side of Harry.

Dinner carried on in a warm, slightly noisy atmosphere.

Ron wasn't nearly as pleased. Whenever he visited Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, those two would even raise the prices on him right there.

"Diagon Alley hasn't been safe lately. You two be careful," Mrs. Weasley warned them, her tone unusually gentle.

"Don't worry, Mum. The Aurors are there. They've been patrolling Diagon Alley every day lately."
