"Waddiwasi!" A streak of light shot through a second-floor window.
With an ear-piercing crash of breaking glass, a member of the Appleby family hiding behind the window had an arm blasted apart. He fell to the floor with a cry of pain, blood pouring from the wound.
"They've broken through the outer defenses! Quick, evacuate the workers first!"

"Put it out! Put it out!" an old wizard with graying hair bellowed himself hoarse. "Lyle and I will hold them here!"
He waved his wand, trying to levitate several heavy looms to block the blasted-open entrance.
But the Death Eaters' assault was too fierce, and too fast.
"Confringo!" With a furious shout, the heavy iron doors and the brick walls around them were blasted down.
"Stupefy!" "Avada Kedavra!" "Langlock!" "Petrificus Totalus!"
Spells rained into the factory.
"Protego!" Several young wizards desperately raised a magical barrier.
