That day, Old Li watched the sun die with his own eyes.

Others were entirely new—creatures of flesh covered in lumps of meat. Even after they were killed, thick blood mist sprayed from their bodies.
"So this day has finally come."
Li Jianguo sighed.
Years ago, while carrying out a mission with his colleagues, he had discovered this horrifying truth: monsters had long since taken over Cihang City.
Anyone who investigated or resisted the monsters vanished without a trace, just like Zhang Ruobing's parents.
