Crack! Crack!

Bones snapped out of place as the Water Ghost twisted the necks of the Imposters in the dorm.

You Joy stripping my clothes off, huh?

You Joy locking me up, huh?

Chen Feng spat on an Imposter, then stomped on him twice for good measure.

That felt better.

"Come on. Upstairs."

According to the notebook, they needed a key to cross the field and get through the main gate.

Chen Feng knew he should question what the notebook said. After what had happened with the Landlady, he ought to be wary of anyone who showed him kindness for no reason.

But for some reason, Li Guolong had seemed familiar the moment Chen Feng saw him. He couldn't shake the feeling that Li Guolong wouldn't lie to him.

Sometimes, caution mattered.

But sometimes, he had to trust his gut.

Chen Feng reached the third floor and found the room marked Office.

The moment he opened the door, a cold draft hit him and sent a shiver through his body.

"Damn monster. He sure knows how to make himself comfortable."

"He won't even put fans in the student dorms, but his office is as cold as the Ice Age."

The office was simply furnished: white walls bearing slogans, a sofa for visitors, a coffee table with a tea set, a floor-standing air conditioner, a desk, and behind it, the familiar goat face in the office chair.

Professor Sheep said kindly, "Staying up late is what bad children do. What brings you here when you should be asleep, student?"

Chen Feng had expected this. His investigation had shown that, except on the day the three of them escaped, Professor Sheep always stayed in his office after class.

He didn't know how they had managed to lure Professor Sheep away that day.

But now, there was no avoiding this fight.

Chen Feng got straight to the point. "I'm here to fight the boss."

Professor Sheep rose, his gaze turning hostile. "Playing online games is what bad children do. Student, I can see games have corrupted you deeply."

As he spoke, Professor Sheep suddenly felt a pair of cold, slippery hands close around his throat.

You fell for it.

Chen Feng sneered inwardly. While he had deliberately provoked Professor Sheep to draw his attention, the Water Ghost had slipped into the room.

Just a quick twist, and that goat head's coming off.

The instant the Water Ghost made his move, white light flashed through the room.

"Shit!"

Chen Feng's vision blurred. Then his muscles seized and his whole body convulsed, as though countless needles had pierced him. Every cell hurt.

With a thud, Chen Feng and the Water Ghost hit the floor together.

The gap between them was too great.

Chen Feng sighed inwardly. We struck first and still got wrecked. Water Ghost, can you actually do this?

The Water Ghost clearly couldn't.

He had barely stood up when another arc of electricity struck him and sent him back to his knees.

Up, down. Up, down. After several rounds, the smell of burning filled the room, and flames burst out.

The arcs had thrown off sparks. The sparks landed on the Water Ghost and ignited the oil in his corpse.

"Cough, cough!"

Chen Feng could hardly watch. They were already outmatched, and now Professor Sheep was exploiting the Water Ghost's weakness. What the hell was he supposed to do?

The only way to turn the fight around was to use Blessings.

And not just one. The Water Ghost was injured, so Hua Tuo's Blessing was a must. He would also need one to boost their fighting strength. It would cost at least three points.

Chen Feng quickly decided against it.

He had spent three points in one go against the Landlady because destroying Happiness Internet Cafe would earn him more points.

But killing Professor Sheep offered him nothing beyond a way out of here.

Besides, even with the advantage of a surprise attack, the Water Ghost hadn't lasted a single move. Professor Sheep had crushed him. Chen Feng couldn't be sure they would win even with Blessings.

Clearing this in one run really is too hard.

Next time, I'll see if I can get the Water Ghost a rubber suit.

Before long, a charred corpse lay on the floor.

Whether he wanted to save Li Guolong and the others or revive the Water Ghost, Chen Feng knew he had to give up this life.

Professor Sheep asked coldly, "Any last words?"

Chen Feng replied calmly, "I'll tell you next time."

"Nonsense. You're beyond reason."

Professor Sheep swept out both hands. A column of lightning shot forth, engulfing Chen Feng in blinding light.

Cold. Dark.

The Pig-Headed Man's hulking form came into view. "Awake?"

He was back in the dark room.

Without a moment's hesitation, Chen Feng stripped completely naked.

The Pig-Headed Man froze. He had seen plenty of students: some wailed, some fought back, and some fainted from fear. He had never seen one cooperate this eagerly.

He had no idea what to do with that.

After a long pause, the Pig-Headed Man said, "Good. Obedient. Come with me."

So if I don't resist, I can skip solitary confinement!

Chen Feng brightened and was about to follow him out when the Pig-Headed Man stopped him and tossed him a set of camouflage clothes. "Clothes. Put on. No running naked."

Even the monster couldn't bear to look at him.

It was still morning.

Chen Feng followed the Pig-Headed Man to the classroom without incident.

When the students saw the newcomer, they all gave him sympathetic looks.

Yellow Hair, seated in the corner, sighed. "Someone else has entered the game instance."

The fat student looked at him in disbelief. "Good grief, can you not talk about games for once? If the professor hears you, he'll fry you."

Li Guolong kicked them both. "Shh. Keep it down."

Under the professor's gaze, Chen Feng picked a desk at random and sat down. Then he quietly called up the system.

First, reloading had erased the Mythic Three Kingdoms Shop he had exchanged for. But he could still spend points to use abilities he had exchanged for before.

"Only Lu Xun, Ma Chao, and Diaochan are left now."

"I should've used Hua Tuo's Blessing last time. I could've learned the details of their escape from Yellow Hair and gained another way to stay alive."

Chen Feng regretted it.

As for the Water Ghost, who had been killed last time, reloading had naturally brought him back. But without rain, Chen Feng couldn't summon him on land.

That left the new box.

Designation KH-02-SBFS. It said, "It is too late, organism."

Another exchange system?

One from a science fiction world?

What kind of system started with "SB"?

Chen Feng had no desire to spend points now. He had already realized something terrifying.

If a Quest System never comes up again, won't I be screwed?
