Yet in stark contrast to her adorable appearance, a man's severed head dangled from her slender hand. His face was grotesquely contorted, as though he had witnessed the most terrifying thing in the world just before he died.

"Lady Progenitor!" Duke Raven dropped to one knee, his manner almost obsequious as he tried to ingratiate himself with her. "What is that in your hand?"
