These were the elders of the vampire legion, every one of them a Count or higher. As long as they survived, they could find any human city and raise another vampire army in no time.
Standing at the very front was a tall, bearded man with long limbs. Unlike his colleagues, who needed hoods to shield themselves from sunlight and looked like relics of the last century, he wore a brown cowboy hat and sunglasses. Very stylish.
This was the commander of the Ninth Legion, a Vampire Prince.

One forbidden spell gathered over the city, forming a dense yellow-green cloud of lethal poison that blotted out the sky and plunged toward the city. A bird accidentally flew into it, and its flesh
