Merchant Patches chimed in beside him. "Sika is such a loser... Blargh!"
Chen Feng darted aside, dodging his vomit. "Are you okay?"
Merchant Patches waved a hand. "I'm fine. I've used Spatial Teleportation more times than I can count—blargh!"

Chen Feng scratched his head as he watched the two collapse to the ground, foaming at the mouth.
It was only a little over a thousand teleports. Was this really necessary?
There were many ways to travel in the Land of Fire.
The slower options included walking, or riding a horse with a few mules in tow. Caravans used freight ox carts and hired mercenaries to protect them from bandits and the like.
For middling speed, there were flying mounts such as griffins, pegasi, and giant eagles, which could cross treacherous terrain like towering mountains and vast seas. Of course, riding a dragon was still the coolest option—both badass and flashy.
Some special classes had different ways of flying.
Witches, for instance, liked to go out on magic carpets. They were a little slower, but flying broomsticks were simply too hard on the backside. One trip could leave their hemorrhoids acting up.
Druids preferred to turn into crows and fly themselves, cawing away.
Because some transmigrators came from the Technology Universe, certain regions had even undergone industrial reform, developing alchemical airships, steam-powered magic-rail trains, and Dwarf helicopters.
Of course, when it came to sheer speed, nothing beat Spatial Teleportation.
During the Sun King Era, the Sun
