Night fell.
Meng Chengcheng, India, Chen Feng, Zhou Yi, and Jiang Die strolled beneath the streetlights.
India rubbed her forehead. She had only invited one person, so why had everyone come?
Jiang Die explained why she was there. "I want to join your team."
India was puzzled. "A promising newcomer like you must have plenty of teams to choose from."
"But I checked the records. Of all the teams willing to take trainee agents, yours is the best choice."
"How do you know?"
"I went to the archives and looked into the deployment records for the past few years. Yours is the only team that hasn't lost anyone."
"Of course. With my prophetic ability, how could things go wrong?" Praise from the strongest newcomer made India rather happy, and she did not forget to take a swipe at Meng Chengcheng while she was at it.

India looked at Zhou Yi. "What about you? Do you want to join us too?"

India turned to her old rival with a smile that hid a knife. "Chengcheng, you just got back. Don't you need to report on your mission?"

Meng Chengcheng grabbed Chen Feng and played along. "You're right. Xiao Hu, let's go back and file our report."
India's smile stiffened. She could only say, "It's so late. You can report in tomorrow."
After they had walked for ages, Chen Feng finally asked, "Is the restaurant close?"
"No," India said.
Chen Feng spread his hands. "Then why are we walking?"
