Chen Feng recovered from his injuries and followed the Fourth Calamity System’s leads while Dawn began harsh combat training with Teacher Hai Hu. Chen Feng found Giant Mountain Technology’s president, Jiu Ai, living as a beggar, and Jiu Ai recognized Dawn as the recently appeared Goddess of Light.

• Dawn explained that Phoenix’s failed time-machine experiment had destroyed her home, leaving her and Chen Feng staying at Phoenix’s apartment with Vega.
• Phoenix suspected the Martians of staging the Lobster Monster invasion, while Chen Feng cautioned him against investigating; online criticism then left Dawn blaming herself for failing to protect people.
• Dawn went to Teacher Hai Hu for special training, and he began teaching her to anticipate attacks through Go no Sen by punching her repeatedly.

President Jiu Ai plotted to restore Giant Mountain Technology and transform into a Giant of Light, while Chen Feng confronted the Mantis Shrimp Monster. After joining with Dawn, Chen Feng used her Go no Sen ability to dodge the monster’s attacks and defeat it.

• Jiu Ai criticized Dawn’s earlier battle and explained his plan to borrow people’s light to become a Giant of Light.
• Chen Feng suspected the Mars people were releasing monsters to test Earth’s defenses and drove toward the Mantis Shrimp Monster.

Chen Feng and Dawn defeated the Mantis Shrimp Monster, then joined Phoenix and Vega for a visit to a haunted house. An emergency report showed the Goddess of Light fighting at a military base while Dawn was with Chen Feng, leaving him wondering who was impersonating her.

• Chen Feng and Teacher Hai Hu destroyed the Mantis Shrimp Monster's eyes, and Chen Feng finished it with a Solar Ray.
• On the drive home, Chen Feng told Dawn about the abuse he had faced as a gaming streamer to explain why online hate comments did not bother him.
• At the rental house, Chen Feng argued with Phoenix over the time machine, and Vega and Dawn pulled them apart.

The Saturn people sent Lashiana to destroy the Defense Force’s old base, where a Venus alien disguised as the Goddess of Light unexpectedly fought her. After Lashiana was defeated, the Saturn alien realized the apparent Goddess was a fake and cursed the Venus alien.

• The Saturn people and Mars people discussed the Goddess of Light’s abilities and chose Lashiana for a covert attack on the Defense Force’s old base.
• A Venus alien transformed into the Goddess of Light to damage Earth’s defenses and frame the real Goddess, but Lashiana’s flames interrupted the plan.
• The Venus alien fought back with a superpower wave, while the Saturn alien mistook the fake Goddess’s abilities for evidence that the real one had been hiding her strength.
• The Venus alien used invisibility to evade Lashiana, but Lashiana’s sweeping flames exposed her and the Venus alien blasted the fire dragon into scraps.

Dawn completed her training with Teacher Hai Hu, but he died protecting children when the resurrected Mantis Rium Second Generation attacked Miyagi Prefecture. Phoenix invented a one-use time machine, and Chen Feng and Dawn decided to send a message to Hai Hu in the past urging him to keep training.

• After a week of training, Dawn showed signs of Sen no Sen, and Teacher Hai Hu told her he had nothing left to teach her.
• Chen Feng warned Dawn that the Mantis Shrimp Monster had returned, and she rushed back to Miyagi Prefecture.
• The Mantis Rium Second Generation overwhelmed Chen Feng with its speed, but he canceled his transformation to evade its attack before the Saturn and Venus people withdrew the monster.
• Chen Feng learned that Teacher Hai Hu had died protecting children during the evacuation, and Dawn hurried to the school and attended his sparsely attended funeral.
