Ch. 41Don't Look Back

Chen Feng visited Paradise's Dining Hall and traded information about the Air Rifle attraction for details about the Haunted House. After hearing a survivor explain that the Haunted House only released visitors when the park closed, Chen Feng received notice that he could no longer check in there because he could not obtain a Game Coin.

  • Chen Feng switched to his Incarnation, followed the map to Paradise's Dining Hall, and found the other visitors trading attraction information.
  • Mr. Wang explained the information-trading rules, and Chen Feng revealed that the Air Rifle attraction required killing ten monsters, including its owner.
  • Mr. Wang warned Chen Feng that the Haunted House used frightening illusions and that visitors must never look back, then described two deadly traps.
  • Chen Feng suggested that Mr. Wang might still be trapped in an illusion, causing him to believe Chen Feng was the Haunted House's owner and panic.
  • A Haunted House survivor told Chen Feng that the attraction kept visitors inside until it closed at seven in the morning.
  • Chen Feng received a system notification that Haunted House check-in was no longer valid because he could not obtain a Game Coin.

Ch. 42Come Play Hide-and-Seek

Chen Feng and the others chose Hide-and-Seek after Captain Wu investigated the amusement park’s attractions, and Meng Chengcheng analyzed the rules. They watched the first round end in a massacre, learning that the giant cats attacked even visitors who were not participating, and none of the players wearing Mascot Costumes survived.

  • Captain Wu reported the attractions’ apparent clear rates, and Meng Chengcheng warned that Ring Toss might be more dangerous than it looked.
  • The team chose Hide-and-Seek, where the rules required players to find Mascot Costumes and survive while wearing them to earn Game Coins.
  • Lin He tried to persuade Meng Chengcheng and Chen Feng not to wear costumes, but Captain Wu and Pastor volunteered before Chen Feng insisted that everyone wear one.
  • The team waited outside the castle while the first group of visitors began Hide-and-Seek, and giant cats started hunting after thirty minutes.
  • A visitor who entered the castle to observe was killed by a giant cat, and only two of the ten visitors survived the round without Mascot Costumes.

Ch. 43The Cats Are Here

Captain Wu's group explored the Castle, discovered that its ten giant cats could recover from attacks, and learned that a previous victim's careful hiding tricks had failed. As the thirty-minute grace period ended, the players put on Mouse Mascot Costumes and scattered to hide while the cats began hunting.

  • Captain Wu's group surveyed the Castle's rooms and discussed possible ways to survive the hunt.
  • Chen Feng led the group into the Cattery, where they found ten bloodied giant cats; Lin He blinded one, and Captain Wu shot it, but it recovered.
  • Meng Chengcheng contacted a deceased visitor and learned that the cats had found and brutally killed her in the Bathhouse despite her precautions.
  • Captain Wu and the others put on Mouse Mascot Costumes, discovering that the suits enhanced their movement and hearing but made them speak in squeaks.
  • When thirty minutes passed, the Cattery doors opened and the giant cats ran into the Castle to begin hunting.

Ch. 44Better You Than Me

The Castle visitors and Agent Squad members chose hiding places to survive the Black Cats, while Lin He watched from the tower and used his sword light to redirect the monsters. After letting the homeless man be killed, Lin He lured the cats into the Chapel to attack the Pastor, who recognized his betrayal.

  • The visitors hid in the Castle, while Lin He took the roof, the Pastor hid in the Chapel, Captain Wu chose the Training Ground, and Meng Chengcheng hid near the Cattery before slipping into the Litter Box.
  • The Black Cats searched the Swimming Pool and Bathhouse, then One-Eyed Cat spotted Lin He on the tower and climbed toward him.
  • Lin He fired sword light at the garbage heap, drawing One-Eyed Cat away from the tower and exposing the homeless man, whom the cat eventually killed.
  • Lin He decided to sacrifice the Pastor and fired sword light at the Chapel, drawing three Black Cats inside.
  • The Pastor shouted Lin He's name and accused him of betraying him.

Ch. 45Total Annihilation

Captain Wu and Lin He fought the Castle’s black cats, but both died despite killing or blinding several of them. Meng Chengcheng was left alone in the Cattery as the one-eyed cat returned.

  • Captain Wu rushed to help the Pastor, killed three black cats, and then died after using a Psionic Grenade to destroy them.
  • Lin He tried to divert the one-eyed cat from the Cattery, but it ignored his distraction and pursued him.
  • Lin He blinded the one-eyed cat with a sword beam, then used his blood to unleash six beams and blind three more cats.
  • The one-eyed cat killed itself and revived to restore its sight, then killed Lin He.
  • Meng Chengcheng heard the deaths of the others and watched the scarred one-eyed cat return to the Cattery.

Ch. 46Who Are You?

Chen Feng saved Meng Chengcheng during Hide-and-Seek by defeating a Black Cat and giving her its costume, and four players survived the game. Back at the inn, Meng Chengcheng decided to contact the ghost that had been following her and discovered it was Liu Xiaohu.

  • Meng Chengcheng realized the Black Cats might be people wearing costumes, while Chen Feng used his Sandevistan to kill the One-Eyed Cat and give her its hide.
  • Chen Feng and Meng Chengcheng removed their Black Cat costumes after noticing they were becoming violent, and Hide-and-Seek ended with four survivors.
  • The younger brother survived after his older brother distracted a Black Cat, while the painter survived by hiding without wearing a costume.
  • Chen Feng reassured the grieving Meng Chengcheng that he would get her out, and she returned to the inn thinking about moving into his room.
  • Meng Chengcheng used Spirit Communion to question the ghost following her and recognized it as Liu Xiaohu.

Ch. 47I'll Pretend Not to Notice

Meng Chengcheng learned that Lin He had tricked the real Liu Xiaohu into giving away his Game Coins, leading to his death, and concluded that the current Liu Xiaohu was a monster. She decided to pretend she knew nothing and rely on him to escape, while Chen Feng remained unaware that she had uncovered his secret.

  • Meng Chengcheng used Spirit Communion to see Liu Xiaohu's final memories and learned that Lin He had persuaded him to put his Game Coins in her bag, triggering his death.
  • Meng Chengcheng concluded that a monster had taken over Liu Xiaohu's body and decided to stay close to him until she could report him to her superiors.
  • The next afternoon, Chen Feng offered Meng Chengcheng strawberry ice cream, and she accepted it while pretending to appreciate his attention.
  • When Meng Chengcheng suggested exchanging information about the Bumper Cars, Chen Feng struggled to refuse, so she assumed he wanted to clear the attraction fairly and supplied that excuse for him.
  • Meng Chengcheng took Chen Feng's arm and asked him to protect her, while Chen Feng mistook her act for genuine affection.

Ch. 48A Team of Deadweights

Chen Feng and Meng Chengcheng entered the Bumper Cars, where they had to survive five ghost cars and keep their vehicles from exploding. The game began with a clueless family disrupting their attempts to cooperate, leaving Chen Feng’s car dangerously close to a warning.

  • Chen Feng confronted a family of three for cutting the line, but Meng Chengcheng persuaded him to let them go first because people died on the rides.
  • Meng Chengcheng analyzed the Bumper Cars rules and suggested players could switch cars, drive ghost cars, and protect one another from repeated collisions.
  • After the previous visitors disappeared, the family of three and Chen Feng and Meng Chengcheng entered the arena as the next group.
  • Five grotesque ghost cars appeared, and the father rammed two of them before his own car began warning him about repeated impacts.
  • The boy rammed Chen Feng’s car, and the father ignored Chen Feng’s attempt to explain the danger and crashed into him again.

Ch. 49Thrilled to Pieces

Chen Feng escaped the father and son by using the Sandevistan, but their son and wife were killed by ghost cars, and the greasy man was eaten after confronting Chen Feng. With Meng Chengcheng beside him and the other car destroyed, Chen Feng realized how he could defeat the monsters and turned toward them.

  • Chen Feng used the Sandevistan to move his car out of the father and son's path, causing them to crash into each other.
  • A ghost car rammed the boy's damaged car, which exploded and killed him, while another ghost car swallowed his mother.
  • The greasy man blamed Chen Feng, rammed his car, and then was eaten by a ghost car after Chen Feng escaped into Meng Chengcheng's car.
  • Chen Feng realized the black cars could survive collisions and considered how to defeat them without revealing his strength.
  • Chen Feng turned the car around and drove toward the ghost cars, alarming Meng Chengcheng.

Ch. 50Home Invaded

Chen Feng and Meng Chengcheng survived the bumper cars and completed the Horror Amusement Park check-in at Ring Toss, earning Chen Feng five System Points. The chapter ended with Chen Feng discovering that his Mr. Rabbit had returned to attack his original body.

  • Chen Feng used the bumper car’s countdown explosion to destroy the ghost cars, then checked in at the Bumper Cars attraction.
  • Chen Feng and Meng Chengcheng chose Ring Toss, where each successfully ringed a cage and received a Game Coin.
  • Chen Feng’s white rabbit escaped, while Meng Chengcheng’s invisible Mr. Rabbit bit her arm and revealed that the rabbits were hungry.
  • Chen Feng rushed back to the inn after realizing his rabbit might be attacking his original body.
  • Chen Feng woke in the Happiness Internet Cafe staff dormitory to find a white rabbit gnawing on his face.

Ch. 51Mr. Rabbit

Chen Feng tried to destroy Mr. Rabbit after it tracked him to his real body, but the rabbit revived bigger each time and remained impossible to shake. Back at the Horror Amusement Park, Chen Feng sought help and left only after the giant Red-Eyed Monster confirmed he had completed five attractions.

  • Mr. Rabbit found Chen Feng’s real body, and Chen Feng punched him into a pancake, but he revived and grew larger.
  • Chen Feng chopped Mr. Rabbit into pieces and cremated him, but the rabbit reassembled again, now twice as big.
  • Chen Feng considered using Lu Xun’s Blessing, Load Save, or Dean Ox’s curse, but chose to switch back to his alternate character instead.
  • Chen Feng returned to the Horror Amusement Park to find Meng Chengcheng, but learned she had checked out, then went to seek advice about Mr. Rabbit.
  • A giant Red-Eyed Monster came alive and licked Chen Feng, then let him leave after confirming he had completed five attractions.

Ch. 52The Overlooked Fifth Rule

Meng Chengcheng returned from the Horror Amusement Park with Mr. Rabbit still haunting her and sought help from Jiang Die, the park’s surviving escapee. Jiang Die revealed that weakening Mr. Rabbit was not enough and that Ring Toss had a hidden fifth rule, just as Liu Xiaohu unexpectedly appeared.

  • Meng Chengcheng arrived at the P.E.A.C.D. base with Mr. Rabbit and learned from India that Jiang Die was undergoing training in E District.
  • Meng Chengcheng found Jiang Die, who identified Mr. Rabbit as the unresolved problem following the amusement park mission.
  • Jiang Die told Meng Chengcheng to pick up and pet Mr. Rabbit, which made his eerie laughter turn into weak whimpers.
  • Jiang Die explained that treating Mr. Rabbit well weakened him, but that killing him required Ring Toss’s hidden fifth rule.
  • Liu Xiaohu appeared behind Meng Chengcheng and said the rule for killing Mr. Rabbit had been given to them all along.

Ch. 53Reversed Knight of Cups

Chen Feng, Jiang Die, and Meng Chengcheng realized that the Visitor Guide concealed the survival paths for the amusement park’s hardest attractions. After India led Chen Feng to E District, she recognized that he was an Imposter wearing Liu Xiaohu’s face, just as an escaped Imposter triggered a level-one alert.

  • Jiang Die explained that the Visitor Guide’s rules revealed how to survive the Haunted House, Maze, and other difficult attractions, and Meng Chengcheng accepted her reasoning.
  • Chen Feng confronted Meng Chengcheng for leaving him behind, then asked how she had found him; Meng Chengcheng said India had helped him.
  • India recalled that her divination predicted the deaths of Captain Wu’s group, with Meng Chengcheng’s reversed cards suggesting survival through a deceptive protector.
  • India recognized that Chen Feng was not Liu Xiaohu and suspected he was a monster in disguise, but she hid her suspicion and guided him to E District.
  • An alarm announced that an Imposter had escaped containment in E District and ordered personnel to stay on guard.

Ch. 54I Was Here First

Imposters broke loose in the P.E.A.C.D. base lobby, where Chen Feng revealed his strength while helping Zhou Yi fight them off. After security contained the attack, India and Meng Chengcheng both tried to claim Chen Feng’s attention, leaving the rivalry between them unresolved.

  • Grotesque Imposters flooded the E District lobby, and Zhou Yi used his immense strength and durability to hold them back.
  • When a big-headed Imposter attacked Chen Feng and his companions, Chen Feng killed it with one punch and then helped Zhou Yi defeat two more.
  • Base security arrived and shot down the remaining Imposters.
  • India concluded that Chen Feng was the powerful knight who had protected Meng Chengcheng and invited him to get a late-night snack.
  • Meng Chengcheng objected to India’s invitation, insisting that Chen Feng was her friend and that she should eat with him.

Ch. 55The time has come!

Chen Feng trained for a month before returning to the Fourth Mental Hospital with Meng Chengcheng to defeat its monsters and earn her a promotion. He left her with the credit for clearing the hospital and rescuing its student patients, while the Crazy Zoo mission remained ahead.

  • India recruited Jiang Die and Zhou Yi into her squad, while the group encountered a Rank B Wheel Monk and abandoned their late-night snack plans.
  • After the Horror Amusement Park debriefing, Chen Feng studied Bull Face’s restricted files and persuaded Meng Chengcheng to join him on a Rank A mission to the Crazy Zoo.
  • Chen Feng delayed the Crazy Zoo mission to train, while India’s squad advanced and rumors about Meng Chengcheng’s lack of progress made her anxious.
  • After a month of training, Chen Feng returned to the Fourth Mental Hospital with Meng Chengcheng and defeated the Pig Instructor with one punch.
  • Chen Feng fought Goat Face alone and returned carrying its head, telling Meng Chengcheng that the victory and hospital-clearance credit should earn her promotion to Class B.

Ch. 56That woman

Meng Chengcheng celebrated killing Goat Face while Chen Feng searched for Bull Face, then an attack on his main body exposed a secret gathering of Cihang City's monsters. Bull Face agreed to rebuild its hospital, but warned that the apocalypse would come if the imprisoned woman escaped.

  • Meng Chengcheng paraded Goat Face's head around P.E.A.C.D headquarters, while India left town to avoid her.
  • Chen Feng realized Bull Face had sent a van of Imposters rather than its real body, which remained hidden.
  • Chen Feng and Meng Chengcheng were summoned to Zone A, where a man in a white coat made them repeat a strange phrase as Chen Feng's main body came under attack.
  • Bull Face met with Demon Lord, Great Yokai, Ghost King, and Queen Mother, who revealed they secretly controlled Cihang City and feared the imprisoned woman.
  • Bull Face agreed to rebuild the Fourth Mental Hospital after the monsters promised it a share of humans, then declared that the apocalypse would come.

Ch. 57Come Back, Great Benefactor System

After waking up on July 31 with his progress reset, Chen Feng blamed Bull Face and suspected P.E.A.C.D was allied with monsters. He acquired the Cheat-Code System and chose a Hextech option that could reactivate a system he had owned before, leaving him eager to bring back the Quest System.

  • Chen Feng woke in the Happiness Internet Cafe and found that most of his progress had reset, though he had completed two training plans.
  • Chen Feng used Sandevistan repeatedly to shake off the Memory Curse and concluded that P.E.A.C.D and Bull Face were working together.
  • Chen Feng activated the Cheat-Code System and discovered it offered powerful temporary cheats, including invincibility and one-hit kills.
  • Chen Feng selected the Don't Miss Out Again Hextech option, which could reactivate a system he had previously obtained.
  • Chen Feng realized he could choose the Quest System and called out for the Great Benefactor System to return.

Ch. 58Second-playthrough player

Chen Feng cleared the Horror Amusement Park with his Liu Xiaohu incarnation and left to prepare for the Crazy Zoo. After creating a new incarnation, he selected Da Lang, a wolf yokai in the Zoo, to infiltrate the faction and gather information.

  • Chen Feng took over Captain Wu’s team, defeated Lin He, and forced a water ghost to catch all the goldfish at the park attraction.
  • Chen Feng cleared the remaining attractions, earned the right to leave, and warned Captain Wu, the Pastor, and Meng Chengcheng to keep quiet.
  • Chen Feng left the park, decided not to confront the Red-Eyed Giant Beast, and weighed the risks of entering the Crazy Zoo without better intelligence.
  • Chen Feng created a new incarnation and relaxed his requirements until the system found Da Lang, a wolf yokai assigned to patrol the Crazy Zoo’s carnivore zone.
  • Chen Feng reviewed Da Lang’s memories and chose him to scout the Zoo and complete its check-in task.

Ch. 59The King Sent Me to Patrol the Mountain

Chen Feng, inhabiting Da Lang’s body, discovered that the Crazy Zoo’s yokai used fake visitor rules to lure humans into a slaughterhouse, then patrolled the Carnivore Zone with Er Lang. When Wolf Vanguard tried to drive them away from a meal, Chen Feng defeated him with one punch and demanded his Wind Blade technique.

  • Chen Feng woke in Da Lang’s cave, recognized Wolf Vanguard as one of Da Lang’s killers, and learned that the yokai distributed fake Crazy Zoo rules to make human visitors obey them.
  • Chen Feng and Er Lang patrolled the Carnivore Zone, where Chen Feng checked in and learned about the factions and powerful yokai living there.
  • Wolf Vanguard mocked the brothers for catching no humans and gave them dog food; Chen Feng realized that Er Lang was a husky mistaken for a wolf.
  • Chen Feng took Er Lang to the wolf yokai’s meal, where Wolf Vanguard threatened to take their legs and attacked Chen Feng with Wind Blade Sorcery.
  • Chen Feng dodged the Wind Blade, knocked Wolf Vanguard into a crater with one punch, and watched him surrender before demanding a copy of the Wind Blade technique.

Ch. 60I'm Going on a Killing Spree

Chen Feng deciphered and mastered the modified Wind-Riding Art, then used its powers to kill Wolf Vanguard and Leopard Chief when they tried to ambush him. He planned to build his strength by hunting powerful yokai, while Er Lang remained loyally at his side.

  • Chen Feng freed the captured humans, ate their snacks, and forced Er Lang to bathe before returning to the cave.
  • The Proficiency System improved the Wolf Yokai manual into the Wind-Riding Art (Modified), and Chen Feng used a cheat to learn its four beginner abilities.
  • Chen Feng discovered that failing to train triggered punishment and learned that perfecting all four abilities would evolve the art into the Threefold Divine Wind.
  • Wolf Vanguard brought Leopard Chief to the cave to assassinate Chen Feng, but Chen Feng used Windwalking and Wind Blade to kill Leopard Chief, then trapped and killed Wolf Vanguard with Wind Prison.
  • Chen Feng gained nearly three hundred Proficiency from the kills, advanced Wind Blade and Windwalking, and decided to hunt powerful yokai; Er Lang agreed to trust him.
