Beneath the Ring Sea, a white shape shot through the water. It moved so fast that it closed the distance to the captain in the blink of an eye.

The sailor broke into a grin and hurried to turn the ship around. As soon as his back was turned and he began working the helm, Lin Yuan activated the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud. A pale-blue barrier spread silently around the seven people and seven Gugas, enclosing them completely.
"Let's go. Jump together," Lin Yuan said quietly.
"Do... do we really have to jump?" Ning Rongrong clung to the railing and stared into the bottomless sea below, her face turning pale.
"Don't worry. This barrier keeps the water out. You won't drown."
